2009 PRINCETON FALL ANTIQUES AND FINE ARTS SHOW

The Historical Society of Princeton celebrated its 5th Annual Princeton Fall Antiques and Fine Arts Show at the Princeton Airport with an elegant Preview Gala on September 25th.  The Preview, attended by 300 of the Society’s biggest supporters as well as some of the region’s most ardent antiques and art collectors, provided guests a first look at the 55 exhibitor booths.  The two-day show then opened to the public for the remainder of the weekend and saw an attendance of 1,100 visitors.  Reflecting on this year’s Show, HSP Executive Director, Erin Dougherty notes, “We are extremely proud to be able to bring this incredible event to Princeton every year.  The community has reached out and supported the Show in ways we could not have imagined five short years ago.  Every year it just gets better!”  The Antiques Show, HSP’s largest fundraiser of the year, funds the Society’s education programs, rotating exhibitions and collections care.
