Erin Dougherty- Executive Director
Since 2007 Erin has acted as chief executive officer, overseeing all aspects of HSP’s operation. Much of Erin’s focus at HSP is overseeing the plan to expand the Society’s operations to occupy and operate both Bainbridge House and Updike Farmstead as museums for the public.
Eve Mandel- Director of Programs and Visitor Services
Since 2011, Eve has been charged with developing and expanding HSP’s programs and partnerships, as well as providing a fun and educational visitor experience. She manages the Visitor Services operation at Bainbridge House and Updike Farmstead, including overseeing Admissions Associates and volunteers, including a very active corps of Walking Tour Guides and high school docents. She develops curriculum and teaches a wide range of education programming for schools throughout central New Jersey; in addition, she plans and teaches a menu of programs for adults and the general public at both of our sites and in the community. At the Updike Farmstead, Eve administers an active Event Rentals schedule, including weddings, birthday parties, corporate and private events. She is also responsible for HSP’s community relations, managing all press, social media and public relations, as well as building collaborations with other non-profits and service organizations.
Al Smith- Facilities Manager
Al oversees our Bainbridge House facility and Updike Farmstead facility. He also oversees on-going construction and development at the Farmstead. He is responsible for all grounds and building maintenance issues, oversees relations with municipal officials regarding construction and maintenance, and manages contracts for a variety of vendors for both sites.
Jennie Floyd- Director of Institutional Development
Jennie joined HSP’s development department in 2011. As Director of Institutional Development, she is responsible for advancing HSP in many areas. Her responsibilities include running our annual fundraising drives, grant applications, corporate support, and event underwriting. She coordinates all information technology areas including administering our donor, accounting, and collections databases. Jennie oversees our website and email newsletter communications, as well as the public research activities and photo procurement program.
