Hunting for Treasure

New this year at the Antiques Show:  a scintillating Treasure Hunt for children ages 7-12!  Dealers welcomed inquiries from our intrepid young guests, who scoured the booths for answers to the ten questions, then collected their prizes at the end.  We asked kids to describe their favorite or “coolest” objects in the show, and here’s what caught their attention:

Whale tooth with scrimshaw carving
Wooden piano bench with needlepoint cushion
Double-barreled shotgun
Jewelry—the more glittery the better!
Mechanical piggy banks
Vintage athletic balls

We hope you’ll bring your youngsters (again) next year for more exciting discoveries!
